Here's the scoop. I bought this wonderful new banjo earlier this year. In September, I met luthier Chris Cioffi while purchasing a prewar banjo out in Springfield, Tennessee, and had him work his magic on this RK 75 Elite, so I would have a better backup banjo for gigs that I wouldn't want to take the prewar to. It's still all stock parts, but He did a neck set, drilled and replugged the lag bolts to get the neck in proper relation to the pot with new lag bolts, to Huber banjo specs, added a new Huber head and tailpiece bracket. He handpicked a standard spaced .656" tall Wadsworth bridge for it ( that's between a 5/8" and 11/16"), replaced the nut and fifth string pip nut with bone nuts, installed fifth string capo spikes at 7,8,and 9 frets, and did a complete set up. So, this banjo is ready to just play and enjoy.
I have since gathered another project and need to part with this one. I'm letting it go for 70% of what I have in it, minus $100 because there are a couple of dings in the finish, one at the peg head point on the back side and one on the back of the neck behind the lower part of the tenth fret, and a very slight amount of buckle rash, see pics. It will come in the original black Guardian case.
You can hear this banjo before and after the set up on my home page videos. Here is the latest you tube link of the banjo:

In this next video I just added, I had tightened the head a hair and raised the tailpeice a little to help demonstrate the up th neck capabilities of the banjo better than the previuos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXa2hjWxMqY ...........It's demo 2.
Here's Demo 3:

It always had very good tone, but now it has more projection and clarity for playing on stage or in any situation where you need to be heard.
This is a very good deal of a banjo just in time for the holidays.
Thanks.
