2010 Cedar Mountain 11" Appalachian Banjo (# 489) & Hard Case
Cedar Mountain Banjos have an excellent reputation for design, quality of construction, versatility ease of play and tone. The rosewood block rim and brass tone ring adds to their uniqueness and quality.
I purchased this banjo brand new from Strum Hollow Music (Spring Hill, FL) on August 9, 2012. The purchase price, of the Appalachian banjo was $1895.00 plus $109.95 for the Superior arch top hard shell case. Total cost including the 7% sales tax, was $2135.27. The original receipt will be in the Superior case.
The banjo and Superior case are in mint condition. They have never left my air conditioned, smoke free home.

The Appalachian banjo features a simple peghead design and a Dobson style heel inspired by the traditional hand crafted Appalachian banjos. This model is not a copy but a natural evolution of banjo design. The Appalachian has a 25-1/2 " scale and a 1-5/16" nut width.
