Washburn 5 String open back banjo. 11in hide head. Caved heel with very nice inlays. Looks to be all original, except for the guitar bridge pins used in the dowel stirrup instead of wood shims normally seen on these. Cool idea and they work and look good. Also, I see that at some point, the ebony fingerboard was separating from the veneers in spots and was re-glued to shore up.I don't think the fingerboard was ever taken off, just re-glued in areas.....Banjo sounds great set up with 1/2 in bridge. Neck is very straight but not perfect-slight forward bow. I was going to re-set the neck to accept a 5/8th bridge, which I prefer, but I've got to many projects so I'll leave that up to the new owner. Asking $1,200.00 but will listen to offers. No case, but I may have a spare chip board case Id let go cheap for shipping. I also have a new Saga hard shell case for open backs that I could sell at a very reasonable price if wanted.
