I picked up a open back banjo which I like better, so the Aria is up for sale. It plays fine, but it doesn't have the sound I am looking for.
I originally got this from a local pawn shop, started some lessons and I have been enjoying playing with a old time group.
There is corrosion and tarnish on the metal parts which I don't think will polish out. There are bangs and nicks on the resonator rim and scratches on the back. There are some chips on the headstock.
Four of the tuners are Schaller that were new in the box in September. The geared fifth tuners is a no name model that was also new. The strings are new this week.
Included is a Kyser capo, a medium plastic National thumb pick, two Dunlop finger picks, and a Intelli electronic tuners that has a loose swivel head.
