Hi, and Thanks for looking at my Add.
Today I have a very nice older kit banjo up for sale.
I put a new Remo Weatherking Head, New Set of Strings, and one of my 100 Year Old Barn Wood Bridges on it, and done a complete set-up on it, and she's a nice one.
It has all the good stuff on it, Geared Tunners all around, Heavy Notched Tension Hoop, 20 Hole Tone Ring on a Multi-Ply Hardwood Rim, Dual Coordinator Rods, Nice Arm Rest, and Braket shoe and Plate Construction, so it can be player as a Resonator Banjo, or remove the Plate, and as an Open Back, and comes with a like new Hardshell Case.
The finish on it is not professional, but not too bad either. It is a little thin in places, and I had thought about doing a re-finish job on her, but decided she was ok like she was. The Good Thing is, she sounds great, and isn't that what we are looking for anyway?
If you are looking for a Good sounding Older Banjo that can be played both ways, Open Back, or Resonator, then this maybe the one you have been looking for.
Would also make a great Christmas Gift for that Banjo Player, or Wanna Bee Banjo Player on your list.
The Banjo is set up well, and plays like butter. It is loud enough for Jams, but still has a sweet tone to it.
I accept Paypal, and expect payment within a few days, or if you need to use another form of payment, contact me, and we'll see if we can work something out.
I will ship, well packed, to the lower 48 states for a flat fee of $35, including insurance.
Thanks for looking, and Happy Pickin'
This banjo is listed elsewhere, and subject to being removed if sold there.
