I'm selling my Gold Tone CC100 Plus 11 inch Open Back. This banjo is four years old and has been my 'second' banjo for the past three years. It is in excellent condition with no major wear or nicks. It sounds great and looks great too. It has received so little play in the past three years that I feel I would like to see someone else enjoy it. The included original hard shell case is also in excellent condition.
Features include a dark stained neck and body with brass tone ring, two way adjustable truss rod, double coordinator rods and geared planetary tuners. This Banjo has been upgraded with a renaissance head, a spike at the 7th fret and a professionally added neck scoop. However, the one flaw in this banjo can be observed in the last photo; under certain lighting the fretboard in the scoop area displays a 'stain' where the frets were removed. This banjo is priced accordingly and I feel that the scoop could easily be repaired by someone who knows how to apply wood stain to a rosewood fingerboard.
