This was built in 2004.I'm the 2nd owner.This is called the Carolina Master,its a Professional grade Limited edtion tribute to Scruggs's Banjo from the late 50's tru the sixties with the Mahogany neck Hearts and Flower inlay and Sunburst curly maple resonator with Gold Plated Flathead tone ring.Hand built with care by Wyatt Fawley.Kulesh sand cast tone ring special made for the Retotone series from Wyatt's proprietary specs.Custom made Hide glue Red Maple rim,Mahogany neck with hand cut Pearl H&F inlays,Rosewood fingerboard.Antiqued Nickle plating on the pot.Waverly Vintage pegs.Duel steel coordinator rods.The Retrotone series has some different specs I have never seen in a modern Mastertone Banjo. 26 3/8th scale .Single truss rod.
