Having purchased a Stelling Sunflower, from Cookie here on BanjoHangout, I will be selling my Fitch Firestorm. I traded for this year from NDJohn, what a great guy. I have played it for about a year and enjoyed it very much. This is the info that John had when we traded last year about the Fitch. It has a Price Straighline tailpiece.
This banjo is an excellent example of Cliff Fitch's work--very nice maple, rosewood fingerboard, with an unplated Blaylock ring on a Cox rim. The serial number is 2007-08. The banjo is in fine shape, as shown in the pictures, and has no issues of playability. The sound is hollow and focused, as is typical of my experience with Bill Blaylock's rings on dense rims with a maple neck.
There are a few tiny scratchs on the back of the banjo, on the resonater but very difficult to see. Send me a message if you want more info
Let me know if you want any other pics or info. Thanks!.
