I have a 1984 Gold Star HF100 hearts and flowers for sale. This not a pretty banjo, but sounds great.
I need to sell it as I have too many banjos. I will tell you the heel of the the neck had been broken before I got it, but the repair was excellent and I have played it for 7 or 8 years with no trouble.
Someone had done a very good fret job, but had cut through the binding when fretting. There is no problem except with the looks. The banjo has been played and does have fret wear. As I said it is not pretty, but it is a fine playing and sounding banjo. I am asking $850.00. It comes with a TKL Zero Gravity case, very nice leather strap, and Paige capo.
