Hi all,
I am selling my Weymann model 150 short scale tenor banjo. (I am trying to get some funds together for a melodeon). From what I can find out, this seemed to be made around 1924. It was built as an open backed model.
It is exceptionally clean, well set up by a reputable shop in Rochester, with a new head and geared tuners.
It is a short scale, with a 10 1/2 inch pot, so it has 18 frets.
Very little playing wear. Nice tiger maple neck.
I wouldn't sell it, but I have another banjo that I play more often.
Asking $350.00, which is how much I have into it. It is a great bargain for this quality pre-war banjo.
Please contact me through this board with any interest. Pics are below. More pics are available.
Thanks,
James
