This is one of my favorite tenor banjos I have ever played. The new Deering Eagle Twenty Ten Tone Ring is really suited well for a tenor banjo. Very warm, with tons of brilliance and clarity.
This is one hell of a banjo. The Deering Twenty-Ten tone ring has a lot of qualities in its tone that a tubaphone tone ring does, but it seems to take it to a new level. This is the best tenor banjo that I have ever played, and I own and play Bacon & Day Silver Bells, vintage Vega tubaphones, Paramonts and others. I just love how this banjo has plenty of brightness, while maintaining tons of warmth. I wish I could keep this one for myself, but I promised my wife when I opened this business that I wouldn't just start eating the profits and collecting more banjos.
