These banjos play exceptionally well and have a great tone! The scooped fretboard makes playing over the neck just beyond the head much easier. Playing there gives you a much warmer, cleaner clawhammer tone with no head tapping noise. A great banjo for beginners on a limited budget and a great banjo for experienced players who want a banjo that they can take anywhere they aren't comfortable taking their expensive banjos. The padded gig bag, which has backpack straps, is top quality, very protective of your banjo, and very durable.
