This is a genuine five string Regent; not a conversion. I believe it to be a 1933, or very close to that date . I've done my best to get the numbers in shot , so you can check them out if you wish. It's got a few scuffs and dings but nothing major, over all its in good and very original condition. There is a section of binding missing off the resonator and the dowel stick ferrule has cracked ( although dowel stick is fine ). The resonator has a slight hollow dip towards the centre screw. I can only assume this has been due to being left overtightened in the past.
The peg head has a few scratches and its star has a hair line crack but nothing out of the oridinary for a banjo of this age.
Anyway, check out the pictures and feel free to ask me any questions you might have about it. Also included is a very tatty period hard case. Its not very pretty but good for postage.
