Here's a great Slingerland conversion, really nice neck by William Talley. The tone ring is a Dobson-looking affair, a brass hoop with a donut shaped ring on top of it. It looks very similar to Dobson rings I have on a couple other banjos, but I don't know what makes a Dobson a Dobson, so, take that for what it's worth. I bought it because it looks and sounds great, I didn't ask too many questions.
The banjo is in excellent condition, no issues at all, it's very playable, sounds nice and has plenty of volume. I just have too damn many banjos.
Scale length is 26.25", nut width 1 1/4". The rim diameter is 10 7/8", I believe. It has a Bill Miller skin head, as well as an extra, new, remo Fiberskin head.
It also comes with a new Superior brand gig bag.
