Gibson Blackjack:
I got this banjo in a trade from a friend of mine about a year back. It is a loud crisp bluegrass machine! right after I got it, I sent it to Arthur Hatfield to have it set up, to have the frets smoothed out and to have the neck turned into a speed neck. This banjo is awesome, but I just don't play it enough. I have a pre-war that uses up most of my playing time. The banjo is mahogany and it has the "special" J.D. Crow engraved patina finish. The blackjack is modeled after J.D.'s banjo, and Gibson even went as far as to match the finish on the metal on his banjo. You can see from the pictures. The banjo has a very slender and comfortable V-neck. Right now it has a Snuffy Smith bridge on it which I think sounds pretty good. It comes with a nice fitting, black (interior & exterior), Gibson hard case. I am open to selling this banjo, but I would entertain any trades that come my way. Feel free to e-mail me for more detailed pictures or to ask questions.
