Original Flathead, Full sticker TB-75. This is an undocumented flathead that I recently picked up at an estate sale. This is a floor sweep as the rim is an early fat-boy. The flange has been replaced at some point with an original prewar flange (not surprising since it's a fatty). There is no serial number on the back of the peghead or in the resonator. There was a factory order number in the rim beginning with a "9", but as you can see in the photos, Mr. Batty decided to put his seven digit number on top of the original number and beside the label. The mahogany resonator is extremely clean. The flat ring weighs 2 lbs, 15.7 ozs. The nickel plated hardware is in excellent condition and the tenor case is near perfect. Currently set-up with a Huber style 3 mahogany 5-string neck with the original tuners, punched presto and 5/8 bridge. The power and tone is just what you would expect...INCREDIBLE! If you are interested or would like more details, please use the send email below or you may call Huber Banjos and talk to Steve.
