WOW! WOW! WOW! Every once in awhile you get one in that's very special. This banjo is one of those. First of all, for those of you out there who have tried to buy a new Granada, you know that there aren't any. No one has any and there are none coming out of Gibson since the flood. This banjo is as close to new condition as you will find. Serial number is 04-13, which means that it was the 13th Granada built in 2004. I got it from the original owner and he was meticulous in its care. He never played it with a short sleeve shirt because he didn't want to tarnish the armrest. It is immaculate all over. There is one very small flaw on the peghead that you really have to hunt to find, but other than that, it is as near perfect as can be.
I did a light fret dressing, which is all it needed, and did a complete set-up on the banjo, including a neck reset to bring the action down. It plays and sounds great. Just what you would expect from a professional grade banjo. I don't expect this one to hang around long...Bill
