I have for sale a 1978 Gibson Mastertone RB250 that has sat in the case most of its 34 years (along with 2 vintage National finger picks in the compartment). It is in very good condition. It has the clam-shell tailpiece with GIBSON inscribed, also the armrest has GIBSON inscribed. All the Tuners are marked GIBSON. Everything very readable. There are no dings or problems. The nickel is very clean for its age. The sound I would describe as warm, balanced, and loud. The only things not original are a new Grover bridge, spikes in the 7th,9th, and 10th frets, and a new Remo skin. The case is original with red interior and marked Gibson on the outside. I emailed Gibson to confirm serial number and age, this from them; "The serial number is consistent with a model made on the 135th day of 1978 in Kalamazoo, MI." Price is $1800 plus $50 shipping.
THANKS for looking
