This banjo is in excellent condition for its age! The neck is straight, the fretboard, inlays, and back of neck are nearly perfect! The neck has never cracked or been repaired, and the engraving on the heel and headstock is in great shape. There is minor fret wear, but the frets still have a lot of life left before they will be needing a fret job. There are minor scratches on the resonator, but the finish is excellent and it is still very solid and attractive. It has the original tailpiece which is very heavy and strong, and a Grover Deluxe two foot bridge, which appears to be very old, but not original. The tuners also aren't original, but work well.
This is a beautiful banjo, and it sounds and plays even better than it looks! They don't make them like this anymore!
