This is a one owner Late 60's Vega. Grandpa bought it new and always had it. It is the Tubaphone ring, Grover turners, 5th string capo in the Original hard case. Grandpa put an old egg sign on the case but it could be removed if you wish. The label for the inside is missing so I don't have a serial number but it does have the allen screw adjusters for the neck as seen in the picture. I don't know for sure but my husband thinks Grandpa may have refinished it. Also he engraved his initials in the metal pot. They could be rubbed out I am sure but I won't attempt it. :) He always called it the Pete Seeger Long neck and I am told that because it has the allen screws in the neck it is still a Vega probably one of the last made just before the switch to Martin because it does have the extra swirls on the head. I will try to answer your questions to the best of my knowledge. It is quite dusty and is just waiting for someone to love it again.
