1979 all original. Sounds amazing one of the best jos I have ever owned. David mcgloclan was very impressed with the tone last fall. A few small issues...slight forward bow to the neck but the actio is still low and it plays fine. It has some fret wear. The finish is tarnished and there is some writing on the inside of the resonator.
This banjo is an early pre war copy with the deep resonator and the longskirt ring. It has improved with age as it is now 33 years old. Think about Renos banjo in the mid to late 60s. Comes with hardshell case.
