2007 Jeff Menzies 12" Tackhead Banjo with 26" scale length. Walnut stained oak rim with rim cap (adds stability to rim). Dark walnut stained walnut neck with skin head. Jeff makes a homemade walnut stain using walnut molasses. The result on this banjo is a deep, dark, chocolatey stain - GORGEOUS! Real bone tailpiece. I hate to let this banjo go, but I need to sell it to help fund another instrument. If you're in the market for Menzies tackhead at a discounted price (Jeff's tackheads start at $795) then this just might be the banjo for you.
