Cedar Mountain Banjo – Dwight Diller model. SN 141. I bought this in about 1999 and am the first owner. This model was discontinued soon after I bought it. Two-piece book-matched cherry neck, frailing scoop, rosewood block tone rim, 25 ½ inch scale, Dobson heel, 11” rim with frosted head. Neck at nut slightly wider than standard. No tone ring – the block rim is tapered to meet the head. This produces a loud yet warm sound, definitely not metallic. Minimal wear. The only issue is that the two pieces of cherry that form the neck are not quite symmetrical, which is evident on the back of the peg head. This doesn't affect playing or sound, but I have to mention it. I have tried to show everything in the photos, but send me an e-mail if you have any questions.
USPS money orders only. $1350 price includes a hard case and I pay shipping within the Continental US.
