Light weight. Big Sound. One of a kind parts banjo assembled by Larry Hill (Helix Banjos) Has its own sound. Very full, defiantly not shrill. Most of the hardware is from a 70's Asian Master Clone banjo. Tube and plate flange. New tail piece (Gold Tone) and rods at the time of assembly. Neck was re-cut for the rim. Has spikes on 7,9,10. Rosewood finger board.
Condition on the sides of the resonator is rough. Frets show only minor ware. Action is very playable. On the higher side. Missing the truss rod cover.
Comes with a hard case but I don't have a nice strap to throw in with it.
Check out me playing Whoa Mule Whoa on it on my homepage. Full head of bluegrass.
