Very cool early Stealth banjo in burl walnut with concentric rings. This is banjo number 17 in 1998 thought to have been built by Marty Lanham before Robin Smith took over production duties. The banjo has a couple issues to be brought to light. The binding has a few reglued splits. The resonator has a bad place in the finish as noted in pics. The veneer is not affected and the previous owner installed a huber ring at some point and made a few pry marks in the rim. Also indicated in the pics. The banjo still retains the factory Mcpeake ring. This banjo has a very traditional bluegrass tone as set up and sounds great. Comes with factory case and black head. Very cool banjo. Recently acquired Gibson wreath forces sale. Thanks, Greg
