Selling most of my banjo collection. This Grand promenade Deluxe from Bob Flesher is simply stunning and is in super condition. Never left the house and kept in a non-smoking humidity controlled home. Description of these from Bob's website may be found here http://www.flesherbanjo.com/claw3.html#prom .The Grand Promenade is a collector's edition model. The neck is made of select tigertail maple and has an extended back strap down to the fourth fret position consisting of a black/red/black lamination. This lamination continues under the fingerboard, peghead and heel cap. The heel is carved in a framed S.S.Stewart style and the peghead and fingerboard are bound with grained ivoroid binding. The fingerboard, peghead, back strap and heel cap are all inlaid and intricately engraved with a classic floral pattern of the 1890's. The 12" rim is made with curly maple veneer inside and out to match the neck and is bound with a red/white/ black rope design wood marketry and grained ivoroid binding. The Kershner tailpiece, tension hoop, as well as the inside shoe bolt cover band are profusely engraved and nickel plated. This is a deluxe model since it includes several upgrades. The dowel rod is covered with ebony lamination with inlay and an engraved Flesher armrest is included. Set up with a Renaissance head and a Moon bridge. Also included is a beautiful tweed hardshell case. This banjo today with these extras would cost over $4,800 with a lengthy wait time. Can be yours today at a very reasonable price.
