This is a fantastic and wonderful banjo that is not only a hoss in tone and volume, but also a work of art, in my opinion the most beautiful banjo that Warren Yates is currently making. It pains me to sell it, but due to some nerve damage in my right hand, I find it hard to just let this fine instrument just sit when someone who can put it through the paces can let this banjo do what it was meant to do.
This Skillethead number 7 is in excellent to mint condition, has never left my house since I picked it up from Warren, no dings, rash, etc. This one has the Yates no-hole tonering, which is what I asked for when I ordered it from Warren. Warren's small sticker is on the tonering to verify it's the original tonering (he started doing this because his tonerings are not marked in any way and the small Yates sticker going across the tonering and rim verify originality).
This of course includes the redline case that Warren supplies these fine instruments in, in mint condition also. This is a great deal on this banjo, you'll still save money on a new one after paying shipping and you won't have to wait the 17 weeks that I had to wait (it was well worth it) after ordering to get your hands on it.
Price is firm, I'm not needing the money, just wanting to get this wonderful tone-monster in a home that will use it as it's intended to be used.
