A recent trade brought me this beautiful 2011 Crusader.
A fellow member (located just miles from Stelling shop) saw my recent add (in the HO) looking to trade my 1929 TB-3 conversion for a Crusader. A trade was made and I have had this banjo for only 12 months. My original problem still exists: to many banjos in my home. I have other Stellings and OME's and my favorite banjo sounds come from arch tops.
Included is the original TKL HS case w/the Stelling logo, a nut driver, alan wrench. and set up instructions for the Crusader setup and case key. I have put a 2" padded leather strap on it which will be with the banjo. For all practical matters, this is a brand new banjo with no wear or flaws anywhere. It is pure Stelling! I also have a Stelling Staghorn (wanut) and when compared, this Crusader is surprisingly bright, yet, with a rich, warm sound.
The Crusader is a mahogany banjo with a slightly longer scale which makes fingering up the neck a tad easier. Free banjo lessions if you live in my area.
