Vega/Martin Pro II Banjo.38 year old Classic.Nice Vintage"dry" Tone
Original.Mint condition.
This is serial # 878. Built in Nazarath Pa in 1973 from original Vega parts that Martin aquired when they bought the Vega Banjo Co. in the early 70's.Stained Maple wood.Ebony fretboard beautiful Pearl Inlays.This is the same model as the Pro II & Bobby Joe Fenster model,same exact pot as the Scruggs model only difference the peg head shape is different.Comes with the original Hard shell case and warranty card.The Banjo has a unique very even tone across the whole neck.Sonny Osborne & Allen Shelton recorded with a Vega exactly like this and they do sound good.Excellent condition for 38 years old. it was purchased from a collector..hence its wonderful original condition.
