I bought my Gold Star new with hard case/blue interior at the Pick & Grin in Knoxville, TN. I consider the banjo to be in mint or near mint condition in that everything about it is original except the strings. The white on the head does show finger marking as expected. I am not a "player" as such for I never progressed to call myself one. The banjo has spent it's life in my closet. I take it out every few years just to realize that I will never have time to become a banjo "player". I have realized that I went from banjo player wannabe to neverwillbe and it is time to accept that. It is a 1980 Gold Star GF100W Wreath #800313.
