I bought this OME Triple X, 5-string banjo new in 1972. Serial number is 346.It has been sitting in my closet for the past 35 years. It has Keith-Scruggs tuners on 2nd and 3rd strings, geared 5th string tuner, Bear Claw tail piece plus original OME tailpiece included, excellent condition, excellent sound, excellent finish. intricate, tasteful inlays, ebony fingerboard. Hard shell case needs the handle reattached. I'm a musician (Trumpet) and thought that someday I'd want to get back into banjo playing. But, I just don't have the time to devote to it.
