If you are looking for an old short scale that is all original, this is not it however if you are looking for a sweet sounding, easy playing sturdy banjo, here one is.. This was originally a very early SS Stewart fretless.. I added a birdseye maple fingerboard with a zero fret a couple of years ago..It is 11 7/8" from the 0 fret to the 12th..The ears on the peg head have been modified because of wear.. The pot is 11 1/2" with a rolled steel ring that sits on cap head nails..The heel has been modified and instead of a dowel, it has a rod and outer sheath, similar to Majestic banjos...This is an easy playing banjo all the way up the neck and has nice low string height with a 9/16" bridge and an extra....I am afraid it would cost me about $65 to ship to the USA with Paypal requirements of signature confirmation but only $30 within Canada...If sold within Canada, and in the unlikely event that you are not pleased with it, I would gladly accept it's return.
