Great U.S. California made Fender Concertone. These banjos are getting harder to find. It has a silvery quality sound that is unique to any other banjo. The gold version seems to bring out the tone and volume as compared to many other Fenders I have owned of the chrome plated type. All these old Fenders are great banjos. This one is in the top 5% by my ear. New frets by Mallory Penland-luthier and guitar builder-Spikes 7 & 9. I will include Shubb gold plated 5th string capo but you will have to drill it yourself as I could not bear to have it done and mess up the side appeal of the wonderful binding. Include original factory Keith tuners and original case ( almost fair condition ) or new case from superior. Any high end Deering would be a good fit for me. Thanks for looking, Jeff Whittington
