Features: a neck and resonator made from Northern Michigan hardrock maple, a three-ply rock maple rim, old style burnished gold plating, hand engraved metal parts, gold plated tuning machines with genuine mother-of-pearl buttons & an ebony fretboard with mother-of-pearl hearts-and-flowers inlays. Very collectible, as only 80 of these banjos were made. Very loud and very good tone with deep bass. Price firm at $4,200. Purchaser will also receive October 1982 Banjo Newsletter addition which featured J D Crowe on the cover playing one of these 80 banjos and included an article about the 1981 Gold Star G-20JD banjo.
