***SOLD PENDING FUNDS*** For your consideration is a 2003 Huber Lancaster Mahogany banjo. This banjo features a Charlie Cushman setup and speed neck. Sale includes Huber strap and original hard shell case. Tone ring is the Huber ring from that era, not the true tone. When I bought this banjo from Royce here on the hangout the resonator had a crack in it. I have since bought a matching replacement from Huber. I find myself not playing much these days so it is time to pass this one to someone that will appreciate it. Pictures say it all but if you have any questions please PM me and I will reply promptly.

I have a Deering Goodtime 2 banjo that is in excellent condition and includes a hardshell case. It is intonated properly and set to Deering factory specs. This banjo plays and sounds great and is in pretty close to new condition. No issues or surprises with this one. I bought it because I just couldn't pass up a nice banjo! But I rarely play it as I'm more into acoustic guitar and ukes these days. I might consider a trade for a small body acoustic guitar or a nice tenor uke. Sale price is $450 with free shipping to the contiguous U.S. Thanks for looking!

Structurally, this is essentially all-original except for its having newer planetary geared tuners. I bought it from Leo Coulson at Intermountain Guitar and Banjo, and he knows banjos. The serial number (see photo) is #63541, which I believe dates it to 1925. It is mahogany, its pot is about 10 3/4" and its scale is 26". I have a 27" scale Regent, and this is noticeably shorter. The case is older but not original, as the photo shows; there are no issues with its latches, etc. I like these simple old Vegas, but I prefer the maple on my Regents. There are no issues with this banjo. Thanks for looking. Steve

Here'a vintage Stelling "Golden Cross" in superb condition. After 38 years this banjo is still beautiful. The gold plating has a few worn spots here and there especially on the arm rest. The finish has a little checking at the handstop. This banjo has fifth string spikes and is ready to go with a fresh set-up from Benny Boling at Huber banjos. Gold plated Schaller D-Tuners are factory installed. The "Golden Cross" has changed over the years and this one has the Stelling "sound" all the way. Comes with Stelling leather strap and original hard shell case. Don't hesitate to ask questions. Youtube sample: youtube.com/watch?v=hv7o5kiuTew

2007 Huber Lancaster for sale. Pre-Truetone, but beautiful sound. Serial number 507-62. This instrument has inspired at least two professional/semi-professional banjo players to "Go Huber." It provided me years of pleasure, but due to arthritic fingers, can no longer play, so I want this professional-grade instrument in the hands of someone who can play it as it was intended. Some wear to arm rest, otherwise normal wear and tear. This banjo's sound has aged wonderfully. Has been serviced by Mike Munford. Would like to get $2900.00, with hardshell case included, but will consider all serious offers.

2006 Deering Tenbrooks "Legacy" Model; this is the mahogany version of the Tenbrooks group. Also has the Famous "Jens Kruger" Tone Ring. This banjo is truly a closet queen. Originally purchase in 2006 by a man that lived close to the Deering manufacturing facility, he purchased this banjo with the intent of learning to play. After a short struggle, the banjo went to the closet only to come out for sale just a few months ago. This is a Strong bluegrass banjo and the Kruger tonering really makes it RING!! 5th String Spikes at 7th & 9th Frets. Trades Considered: Greg Rich era & pre war Gibsons. Comes with original Deering Hardcase, will add picture later.

New lower price ! 1976 or so Gibson mastertone 5 string banjo for sale. This banjo is in very good condition. It plays and sounds great, but has some scratches etc from being played over the years, but overall is in very nice condition. It has Keith tuners on the 2nd and 3rd string and rr spikes on 7th and 9th frets. The Gibson case is functional but has scruffs and is not great, but useable. I had this banjo set up and inspected by a great guitar/banjo tech in Tempe Az and he thought it was a great banjo. If you need more pictures let me know. I am trying to be as honest as possible on this banjo...I am not a banjo expert by any means. Thanks for looking and let me know if you have questions or request more pictures. I could demo this banjo on skype if you are interested...this would give you a good chance to see it "live" so to speak and ask questions and hear it in person. I am only selling this banjo to finance another Gretsch guitar. Ship only to lower 48 and buyer to pay actual shipping. Pay pal accepted or check or money order...if paid by check must clear bank before shipping. Thanks. I should add that I am negotiable on the price, I am not desperate, but very interested in moving this banjo, so send me an offer I cant refuse ! :)

For Sale: Nice 1930s Style 11 Prewar Gibson Banjo For Sale - $2,900 USD

1930s Gibson prewar TB style 11with duplicate 5 string neck, all original pot and uncut rim with exception of a couple of hooks and nuts, tailpiece bracket and a 2 pc 50s-60s armrest. Original would have been a 1 pc armrest. Resonator is in very good shape for its age and has no pull up on mother of toilet seat. This one is the rarer green color as well and really beautiful. This banjo came from the late “Harry West” several years ago and the gentleman that sold this to me has had it for many years as well. The duplicate 5 string neck was probably made by Tom Morgan as I remember Tom telling me once that he made several necks for Harry over the years. When I set it up today I found out that the head was busted so I replaced the head and put on a Sullivan roasted maple bridge and this baby will peel paint! The neck builder used the original Grover 2 tab tuners along with the matching Grover friction 5th tuner. Rim is round within a few thousands and very tight with no delaminations at all. Banjo comes with Access hard-shell case seen in pics. The rim does not have a Gibson sticker nor serial number but it is most definitely the original rim to the banjo. Prewar flange has just slight pull up right at either side of neck but not bad at all. I have seen more than one style 11 that did not have a sticker……most did but a few got out without one. If this banjo doesn’t sell in a week or so I may consider parting it out but would really hate to have to do this. This is a great player banjo and you will be surprised how good it sounds without the rim being cut for a tone ring. Thanks for looking! Near mint 2014 Huber Berkshire Truetone - I described it as excellent condition to be conservative, but it is close to being new - no dings, no "buckle rash', etc.; No excuses - just a great banjo; craftsmanship is outstanding - tone is awesome. Why am I selling? - Cause I'm crazy. lol No, seriously, I am just interested in trying something different. I would like to sale outright, but might trade for a Yates or Gibson (in similar condition). Comes with warranty card (not filled out) an older TKL case that shows some wear, but is structurally sound (this is the case it was in when I got it). It does have the Engineered rim and HR-30 ring. Sorry for the reflections in the photos. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Thanks

The Mystic, most likely was made by Lyon & Healy, c. 1899, in Chicago. Lyon & Healy sold many lines of banjos, and the "Mystic" line was in the middle quality-wise. This is a wonderful 1980's vintage Gold Star GF100FE banjo. The wood and metal are in excellent condition as is the original Superior hard shell blue-lined case. This banjo has a mahogany neck with flying eagle inlay, mahogany resonator with two concentric rings, 3-ply maple rim, cast OPF, 20-hole brass tone ring, and Snuffy Smith bridge. All parts are original except the tailpiece (broken one in the case), bridge, and maybe the head. This banjo is another great example of a 80's vintage Gold Star. Banjo sounds awesome as well.

Here is a 1926 Gibson TB-1 tenor banjo that is in good solid condition. It has normal wear for a played instrument of this vintage. It has the diamond flange, fat maple rim, maple neck with dot inlays, Page tuners, maple resonator with some scratches on the back, and original resonator lugs, brackets, shoes, hooks and nuts. This would be a nice tenor or conversion candidate. Look at the photos and if you have any questions give me a shout. Thanks
